The Tanglewood office of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage – Dallas/Fort Worth (CBDFW) partnered with Carter Blood Care October 8 and 10 for two all-day blood drives.
“We were delighted with the turnout of donors from our office, friends, clients and neighborhood business colleagues who participated in this event to help save lives,” says Amy Lilly, Sales Associate at the company’s Tanglewood office and donor center counsel.
“Carter Blood Center’s official theme – ‘Give blood, save lives and be a part of something great’ – is a great philosophy for a community service partnership for Coldwell Banker,” says Betsy Senter, Branch Manager of the Tanglewood office. “Amy and her team did a great job of organizing the drive. I am so proud of our agent volunteers and donors who helped make this event possible. The support from Carter Blood Care staff was fantastic.”
The drive was held at Carter Blood Care’s Hulen Donor Center. “Carter offers patient care services, education and training, a marrow donor program and histocompatibility (HLA) services,” says Ms. Lilly.
Sales associates from the Tanglewood office, located in the Texas Christian University Colonial area, greeted donors and shared information about Fort Worth-area real estate.
“Traditionally, Carter Blood Care partners with its local sponsor businesses to co-promote each other’s services,” says Ms. Senter. “It’s a great benefit and a win/win situation for everyone involved. We feel donating blood is an important issue to the people we do business with every day — homebuyers and sellers in the Fort Worth area. Donating blood can save lives.”
