(IRVING, TX – August 24, 2008) – The Flower Mound office of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage – Dallas/Fort Worth (CBDFW) hosted a registration event earlier this summer for the DRIVEN Football program for youth program from Dallas Cowboys great Tony Casillas.
“We are proud to support the town of Flower Mound’s very own youth football league from Tony, who is a former world champion with America’s Team,” says Melody Kruse, manager of the Flower Mound office of CBDFW. “We had a great time where over 65 children enthusiastically registered for this exciting program. Tony also conducted equipment fitting and organized other exciting activities for the kids.”
Mr. Casillas is a resident of Flower Mound and husband to Tamara Casillas, Realtor with CBDFW. They saw a need for a football league in Flower Mound when their oldest son, Chase, started playing a couple years ago in numerous cities in the area.
“All of the practices and games were outside of Flower Mound and thus not convenient for the parents of kids that wanted to play football,” says Mr. Casillas. “When our youngest son, Jett, was ready to play, we thought that our town was big enough to support its own league. We knew the time was right to put the ball in motion to start a league.”
DRIVEN is for players that are ages eight and up. It is an athletic and mind enhancement program for the individual that wants to be transformed from an ordinary player to an athlete that is self-driven. The program helps players enhance flexibility, body control, reaction time, core strength, injury prevention and healthy competition.
The program includes a beginning baseline test, intermediate progression test and end result test. After each test, each participant will receive their official DRIVEN Score. All scores will be posted to see how each participant ranks. Scores will be based on individual progression and total score to facilitate inner drive and competition.
“Driven is for the athlete who wants specialization training, in a competitive environment, that will enhance their athletic ability through goal orientated training,” says Mr. Casillas. “The people of Flower Mound have been very supportive in helping with this program. I also want to than Coldwell Banker for their help.”
“We look forward to supporting the DRIVEN football program in the future for the aspiring football players in Flower Mound,” says Ms. Kruse.”
